TEAM DEVELOPMENT

Picture
A good team is a combination of different skills and abilities, brought together in order to complement each other and achieve exceptional outcomes.

Looking to get the best out of your team?

We tackle the challenges faced by teams every day and how they can improve their working relationships as a group. Focusing on collaboration, working on individual strengths and collective wisdom, our sessions help everyone to bring the best qualities to the fore for the benefit of the team. We’ll look at team members’ mindsets, behaviours, who they influence and the skills they can develop.

We’ll explore how teams can work better together, collaborate, make decisions and identify the issues they need to work on. A mix of open, honest discussion and practical, relevant exercises allow the team to develop their own solutions to the challenges they face.

Session elements can include:
  • Self: Motivations and drivers; assertiveness and self-confidence; fear of failure, freedom to make mistakes; seeking help; establishing trust; communication
  • Team: Visibility; awareness; support; coordination; culture; acting cohesively; owning the problem; knowing when and how to help each other
  • Organisation: communicating to wider teams; morale; openness; culture; focusing on solutions, not problems

 Looks at:
  • Characteristics of high-performing teams
  • Ways of working and emotional difference
  • Team mindset, attitude and behaviours
  • Collaborating to make better decisions
  • How to work towards a common, clearly identifiable goal

RECONNECTING WITH YOUR TEAM

Research conducted during the pandemic suggests that what people are missing the most is genuine human connection with their colleagues and teams- and, most importantly, laughing with others.

Many of us have been used to seeing each other over video calls for the last few months, but how many of those calls have made us feel properly connected?

One of our main skills is bringing people together and getting them to connect on a personal as well as a professional level. So, if you're missing human proximity and looking for something different on your next team Zoom call, we'd love to help. And, if and when you're able, bringing people together in person to connect, have fun and to laugh is our speciality.

NAVIGATING CHANGE

Nobody needs to tell you that this is a time of great uncertainty. We've all had to learn to adapt, change our way of being, and work differently, almost overnight.

More positively, t's also a time for people to consider what they want, what they've missed and what they think will happen in the coming months.

Even though things are beginning to move towards a certain kind of "normal", nobody knows what the future is going to hold.

We'll help you consider the changes you've been through before, take strength, recognise yours and other people's journeys and learn the lessons from them.

CREATING NEW WAYS OF WORKING

The principles of how we work together have changed. Can you go back to what you did before, or do you need to change, too? How can your team best work together in this new world?

It's the perfect time to make something new; something different; something better than what you had before. Think about what you want to keep doing in this new world, what you want to stop doing and what you want to do more of.

We'll look at how to acknowledge the changes that have taken place, the working styles of each member of your team and help create the best way for you to work together.

MOVING FORWARD TOGETHER

How do you deal with the differences that come out of your new way of being?

With some people being furloughed, others working from home and everyone dealing with virtual working, many people have felt they've been cut adrift from their team and organisational purpose.

Reconnecting people with the work they're doing and getting everyone on the same page is crucial for organisations to start moving forward.

We can help convey your important messages, set out your intentions and make everybody feel like they're an active part of the journey.

"I would like to thank you personally for what you have achieved with my team in those four meetings. You have guided them to blossom and flourish into the team they are creating between themselves. I too have found your sessions very enjoyable and educational..."
